The presidency, the 2026–2031 strategic plan, and the work IPAYP is taking to young people across Africa and the diaspora.
IPAYP is a non-partisan, youth-led institution representing young people across the 55 member states of the African Union and the wider diaspora. The President pledges to lead with humility, integrity, inclusivity, and accountability.
Grounded in Pan-Africanism and youth-centred development, the plan organises IPAYP's work around empowerment, peace, entrepreneurship, human capital, governance, and election observation — and a deeper partnership agenda to reach more young people.
IPAYP will promote peace education across faiths and communities, tackle the root causes of radicalization with young people, and support hundreds of youth-led preventing and countering violent extremism initiatives.
International election observer status is a core pillar of the new strategy: civic education, political awareness, and deploying trained young observers when elections occur.
The entrepreneurship agenda links young founders on the continent with the African diaspora — aiming to help launch 100 start-ups by 2031 and channel remittance investment into productive industries.
