An umbrella of independent-minded African youth.
The Independent Pan-African Youth Parliament (IPAYP) is an umbrella organisation of independent-minded African youth. It is a platform where youth empowerment on the continent is evaluated, revamped, and set up for implementation in the constituencies we are called to serve.

What we are called to do.
Mission
To stand parallel with the African Union, and represent African youth on any summit where policies affecting the continent are convened.
Vision
To see the Africa of our dreams — identifying and tackling problems faced by African youth by providing a front for interactive participation, and harnessing resources for cooperation and development.
Working documents
We implement and evaluate the African Youth Charter, Agenda 2063, Agenda 2030 so they address the real challenges confronting youth on our continent.
How we lead
Youth-led, values-based, and future-focused — with humility, integrity, inclusivity, and accountability. We believe responsible leadership begins with responsible engagement.
Plan. Design. Build. Execute. Monitor.
The Presidency
The President and Deputy President represent IPAYP as a continental movement — youth-led, non-partisan, and dedicated to the aspirations of young people across Africa and the diaspora.
The Board
The Chairman of the Board and Director of Strategy provide governance and the implementation roadmap for the 2026–2031 strategic plan.
The Secretariat
Coordinates programmes, partnerships, and correspondence so empowerment work is evaluated, revamped, and delivered in the constituencies we serve.
We strengthen the empowerment of youth, women, and children.
We invest in leadership, economic empowerment, innovation and skills, and action to counter violent extremism among youth, young women, and girls. We believe that with their commitment and involvement, Africa can surmount any challenge that lies ahead.
